My wife, R. S. Perry, published a book in 1974 entitled Charles Ives and the American Mind. Her book is a very broad and knowledgeable study on American Transcendentalism and its impact on creative artists such as the composer Charles Ives. I have started re-editing that book for a second edition that will be published soon. Stay tuned for more as I make progress on that project.
